Jaimie's uncle is in the Australian rock and roll hall of fame. As a result of spending time listening to him play guitar, from a young age, Jaimie wanted to be involved in the music industry. With the help of his uncle, he began playing guitar at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped playing since. Although involved in a number of cover bands at various times throughout his life, most of his experience has been with Fizzy Pop, both the original Canberra based version as well as the one now based in Adelaide.
